Choosing an output format
JPG is usually efficient for photographs but does not support transparency. PNG preserves transparent pixels and sharp interface graphics, while WebP often provides a smaller file for modern websites.
Converting a low-quality image to a lossless format cannot restore missing detail. When exporting JPG or WebP, compare the preview and file size rather than choosing the lowest quality automatically.
